“Pinot Noir Snares” by Lauper Drums
The small and genuine Swiss drum company is located in a picturesque wine region at Mount Vully.

After several years of developing, Lauper Drums is finally ready to present the first snares made entirely of original French “barriques” (wine barrels). These barriques are made from 200 year old oak by the world’s finest barrel-makers in nearby Burgundy and are used by the local Swiss wine makers to mature the red wines, mostly Pinot noir. 

During maturation, the precious juice adds special sound characteristics to the wood, differing from non-treated oak. The snares are available in limited quantities per year and come with an original bottle of wine and barrel label. Power hoops, Fat Cat or Puresound snare wires, Dunnett strainers and Index tuners are mounted as a standard, but you can choose any specifications. www.lauperdrums.com
