Drum Workshop Inc., DW DVD’s parent company, has announced the release of “The Love Project-Journey” from female studio and touring drummer, Yael. “The Love Project-Journey” chronicles the making of The Love Project record which can best be described as a motley collective of musicians from several genres that rally together simply for the love of the music and their drumming ringmaster. Yael’s hard hitting, tribal drumming style serves as the backdrop for tracks which range from Metal Opera, Folk, Classical, Electronica and beyond. Notable appearances on the DVD include drumming legend, Terry Bozzio, Stone Sour drummer Roy Mayorga and virtuoso guitarists, George Lynch and Alex Skolnick of Testament fame.
The $24.95 2-disc set includes a 4-song CD and DVD with 71 minute movie and nearly an hour of special features.
